HSBC app, how to change reference details for existing payee
Hello,
Tried HSBC online help but getting nowhere. My Lloyds credit card is changing form Master card to Visa, I have the mastercard details set up as an existing payee on the HSBC app but I don't seem to be able to edit the 'reference' of the payment which is showing the old 16 digit card number for the Mastercard to the new 16 digit for the Visa card.
Is this possible to do this or do I need to delete the existing payment details completely and add the new card details as a new payee?

You can't edit the 'saved' reference on a payee.
You can change the reference at the point of making the payment but it won't be saved.
Delete and re-input would be best.
