HP Envy Inspire 7220e Printer Ink Cartridges
Hi all, I have stopped instant ink.
I now have to buy my own ink cartridges, can I buy just the black ink, will it work with one cartridge in please?

You can't use instant ink cartridges without an active subscription.
- "If you decide to cancel your HP Instant Ink, you can go back to using HP original Standard or XL cartridges. HP Instant Ink cartridges will not work after the end of the current billing cycle in which you cancel."

I saw a YouTube vid the other day about a factory in China that they were saying is making non original HP ink carts for a fraction of the price of proper ones. They seemed to believe they had overcome the issue of the chip on the genuine carts being the only ones that would work in the printer. Was all this some daft fantasy or real? It would be brill if it was true.
