Vinted QR codes InPost doubt

Please can someone clarify the Vinted QR Inpost shipping codes for me? I always printed labels before with no issues. The other day I tried just the QR code method for shipping and since Tuesday my parcel hasn't been collected from the locker.

For what I understood, I don't attach anything to the package, I scan the QR code on my phone and the locker opens, I put the parcel in, close the door and that's it, right?

How do they know where to send it if the parcel has no labels, no codes, nothing on it?

I find odd that my parcel hasn't been picked up yet and still in the locker.

they know what parcel is in which locker, it is weird, I felt a bit similar to you when i used it but trust the process - it seems to work.

thank you, that's reassuring , It's just when I print the label and put it on the parcel, the parcel gets collected within a day. First time that I'm using the QR code and 3 days later still no collected

the 3 days would worry me , I pre print my labels but did use a QR code once when I accidentally clicked on QR rather than label, and that did show as picked up within 24 hours. It might be worth phoning Inpost, surprisingly they do answer the phone if you use the number shown on the locker.

I live with one in view, and when they rapidly empty and refill, they attach another label. The speed is about 3 parcels out in about a minute; they even stop to allow drop-offs.

IN THEORY the collector scans to open the locker which gives them the info on where to deliver, as its 1 parcel per locker. I have successfully done it once.

But it still feels prone to problems, if there's an issue then there's nothing identifying on the parcel. So where possible I try to just use the QR codes when handing it instore, and the staff usually print out a label and stick it on there and then. Its a 5 second job for them with a dedicated label printer, vs me firing up the PC, dealing with printer issues, carefully taping, etc.
