I'm not a fan of ball and plastic socket joints because they're prone to pop out, and as you've discovered each time they pop out and are pressed back the cup deforms a little more so the hold gets progressively weaker and weaker.

The ones I suggested have much more positive fixings - threaded studs on each end of the strut secure to steel trunnions with washers and what look like M5 nuts. You would need to unscrew the ball fixings from the angle steel supports and screw the trunnions in their place, but once fixed those joints will never pop out.

Of course I did but they keep coming off. The metal clip that is meant to keep them on the ball joint is either broken or not strong enough to keep them in place.

Unfortunately they don't stay in place.

I know, I found them already but I can't find the right size. The do them for cars and it's difficult to figure out which one would fit this shed.

Thanks, that's what I was thinking as well but I can't figure out what to buy so the match the original ones.
