Given up on Etsy. AI = Artificial Imbecility?
I've just spent hours going round in circles trying to help my partner log into her Etsy account.
Etsy sends her emails to her email address.
When she tries to log in, she is told her email is invalid.
I tried changing her password. A change password email arrives at her email address. The procedure completes. It says now log in. Her login email address is rejected.
We've gone through the helpfiles. Contacting Etsy needs a successful login.
There is no telephone number to ring, no way of SPEAKING TO A HUMAN BEING.
I've advised her to give up on Etsy in order to reduce her stress levels and mine. It appears to be an online labyrinth of helplessness. It drives her mad.
She will never be able to download her knitting pattern. Perhaps they could post it to her?

This feels very much like it should be in either the 'Praise, vent & warnings' subforum as it doesn't contain a question (except the rhetorical one at the end), or the 'Techie Stuff' subforum if you genuinely want help resolving the situation.
Could it be that she has her account linked to a third-party account (e.g. Google, Facebook, Apple)?
If so, she'll need to sign by scrolling down and clicking 'Continue with X' respectively.
This would explain why she can't sign in using her email, but receives communications by email.

OK Exodi, I struggled to find where to post it. Thanks for the suggestion. Vent and warning sounds right. Perhaps Admin can move it?
No linked account. She avoids Google, Facebook and Apple.
She has not had an email to tell her that her account is blocked.
Thank you for your suggestion.

@soundgeekHave you tried Etsy's help centre, which doesn't require you to log in:
Googling on your question might have been both quicker and easier, if you're only after simple facts rather than opinions!0 -
Thank you for the link. I have asked for help the day after I received it from you, but no progress so far.
