I was offerde a 75% discount if I bought another pair of shoes but I was eventually offered a 10% refund and keep the shoes that were no good to me.

They exist to the extent that someone is running a website under that brand name but they dont claim much more than that. They even are modestly honest and say they are "inspired" by London rather than actually claiming to be in london.

If you look at their Terms of Service they state:

If you check the australian equivalent of Companies House the business number matches up with the company name and address and also points out the company came into existence in February. Unfortunately unlike its UK equivalent you have to pay for copies of documents or details of directors/shareholders etc.

There are a wide range of giveaways from the mobile number, the fact they declare Australia as the legal jursidiction even though its multiple jurisdictions so any australian company would specify the state, the up to 11 business days for shipping tells you where in the world its coming from. The fact everything is 40% discount plus a 25% new customer discount just screams cheap tat that will look nothing like what the photos are like.

Its a typical website for a far east company advertising on social media with too good to be true offers.

Rule of thumb, any company flogging cheap stuff online with the word "London" in their name is almost certainly based somewhere in China.

I look at the shipping & refund pages.

Any that say 'contact us before you send anything back' is a red flag possibly indicating a Chinese supplier.

And this phrase is a big no-no, copied and pasted from any other website:

"Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases."

I ask myself…does the company I'm thinking of handing my money over to actually sell any of these items?".

In this case, the answer is 'no'. They only sell 'fashion'.

And the return address in this case is:

which clearly shows you are dealing with a Chinese company.

This is a golden rule to follow.

Does it have the name of a major city in its name, is the stuff cheap, is it online only, have you come to the site via a Facebook ad?

If any of the above is true, it is likely to be a scam and you should proceed with extreme caution... ideally giving it a very hard swerve.
