I paid £459 which was same as in shops. It was a small business in a centre in Northamptonshire, looked ok as it was a proper shop.
Is the business still selling headsets on eBay? Can you provide a link to one of their listings?

Section 75 claim is worth a go. I recently put a claim in after a purchase on eBay 3 years ago due to finding out something I bought had had legitimate parts removed and replaced with fakes. As the information was new news to me it fell under the 6 year window.
Users on this site gave me a reference to a legal case which I referenced
Virgin upheld part of my claim (not the main part) but importantly their reason for not doing so was not due to it being from an eBay shop ,(again the shop I bought from allegedly was legit with website etc,). They didn't cite this at all in their outcome.
It may not be successful but it's worth a try

But are you 100% sure that they are selling them, & not just someone using pcture/address?
What has the seller/shop said when you have contacted them??

I made the assumption that they contacted the shop through the eBay page where it was purchased as the physical shop may well be a slightly different arm of the same company.
My husband is a hobbyist , we buy regularly, at least three or so times a month from legitimate shops who have a presence on eBay. The shops themselves are known to us but aren’t near us physically and if you want an off site sale are often cheaper on eBay than they are direct from the shop due to shipping costs . We once bought from eBay whilst talking to the owner at a hobby event, we’d asked about something we’d seen advertised which he had not got in The shop but which was listed on eBay by someone who managed their eBay side of things and who sold of remaindered or second hand items that he didn’t want to clutter the shop up with.

I am interested as to how a reseller proves to TD Synnex who the end customer is
( Most right minded businesses are reluctant to give correct end user details as the Likes of Dell and Cisco Meraki like to pinch the end user customer although with customer having to register with Meta this could cause an issue)
Recent example
email address of warranty@enduser.com which diverts to reseller mandatorily given to a Dell distie
Reseller received an email next day from Dell saying "I am your new account manager"
Reseller complained to Dell liaison at Distie who hopefully expressed their displeasure to Dell cutting them out of the loop

According to AI, which you should often take with a healthy pinch of salt, Meta have specified a 56 point checklist that TD Synnex must have completed before a sale can be made. Have no idea where AI has sourced this information from
I certainly agree with you that it will make sum reluctant to deal with intermediaries but it can be a case of its this way or you dont get to sell Meta products. In some cases the protection is that the distributor only directly deals with large companies and arent setup to deal with SMEs wanting to buy 10 units
Hell even had one case where the US office pinched the UK office's largest customer within the same group. The UK branch did have problems with its system and therefore reporting, the US had fixed the problem in their system so in principle there was a reason to implement the US system in the UK but as soon as the largest customer was stolen after the US got access to the UK data the project no longer stacked up0
