Dinan and Vannes recommendations please

Hi everyone! We are planning a twin-centre holiday to Brittany, spending 3 nights in Dinan and 4 nights in Vannes between 22 - 30 August. We chose Vannes so we can take day-trip boats out to Île aux Moines and Belle-Île. We need a 2-bedroom apartment with air conditioning in the bedrooms for both stops. For Vannes, we'd love to be near the lively port/marina. Does anyone have specific apartment recommendations or standalone gîtes with AC in these two towns?

Even if anyone on here has stayed in decent accommodation fitting that spec in those places, the chances of it being available at a week's notice in August in France would seem pretty remote, so I strongly suspect that you'll have to visit the usual self-catering websites to pick from what is still available…

That's valid, thanks. Maybe I should have asked for recommendations of places to search that might have that spec of accommodation. I have searched the large websites.

I expect you're constrained by holiday entitlements, and can only echo the other comment. I sailed in to Vannes many years ago, and did a crew change (got train/ferry home) but it's a place I wouldn't mind going back to if only for the market!
