How to compare tariffs when you have SEG and EV??
We have been with Eon for a few years and were happy with their tariffs for SEG and EV overnight charging. Now they have more than halved the proposed SEG we are not! However, I can't seem to find an easy way to compare energy tariffs when you want to include having an EV (so cheaper overnight electricity pricing) and solar panels (so a SEG tariff). Am I missing something?? Octopus and Fuse seem to be very vague about what they offer.
All help very welcome!

The best way I know of to compare tariffs in this situation is to do three separate calculations.
For each supplier you're interested in, work out (1) what your annual import would cost and (2) what your annual export would earn.
Then (3) subtract earnings from costs to give the net cost (or net profit) for that particular supplier.
Only then can you make an informed choice.
Edit to add: MSE have a fairly up to date list of EV tariffs here:
N. Hampshire, he/him. Octopus Intelligent Go elec / Fuse gas / Vodafone BB / iD mobile. Kirk Hill Co-op member.Economy 7 cap explainer. Gas vs E7 vs peak elec heating costs, Ecoflow Stream, Best kettle :-)
2.72kWp PV facing SSW installed Jan 2012. 11 x 247w panels, 3.6kw inverter. 37 MWh generated, long-term average 2.6 Os.1 -
Nothing particularly vague about the Octopus products:
Here are the export rates:
For import you are going to be looking at Intelligent Octopus Go if your charger or EV is compatible.
If not then it will be just 'Go'.

You can use a different supplier for export payments to that you use for import. But each supplier may have different rules.

Their is a comparison of SEG Rates by MSE here
The table's a few weeks old now (late July) so their may be a standalone version more up to date.
It looks pretty much you need to have a tied deal (import and export) with the same suppliers to get a decent rate.
