Having worked in commercial radio for 15 years, I would be highly surprised if anyone outside the transmission area of the station won any radio competitions!

If they need credibility to prove themselves, I will win it. Smoker 44 years, Mum & Dad had emphysema, I had cancer 2003 (don't preach to me, I know) still here 2008, maybe I don't deserve it, still abusing but I really do want to try. Happy New year to all.

Lots of us have I won with heart fm which is in the midlands and i'm in East Sussex - no where near them ! they did ask how i got there station though! said via the internet!

Woo hoo - I'm in Leicester and my husband had a partially collapsed lung last year (not woo hoo) - so fingers crossed for this one, would be a great boost for us...
