On the Beach – family holiday lost
Comments

Did you actually make any attempt to mitigate the damage e.g. fly out on alternative flights?
You might have been able to use the accommodation and possibly even the return flight depending on the airline.

I read in the news about another couple who were victims of scammers pretending to be OTB.
They said:
"The family were due to check in on August 5 and return on August 12, but the day before they were due to fly Xxxxx was unable to log into her On the Beach account to check the status of the booking.
The 51-year-old said she found a number on Google with the help of her daughter and called, believing she had reached the holiday company."
OTB themselves published a warning on their website a month ago about reports pf scammers.
