Wireless Network Problem.

I currently use Virgin as my broadband provider and have a wired home office set-up. I bought a Belkin wireless g router and usb receiver to try and let my daughter use the network. I managed to get it running and set-up, however, it keeps crashing after 5 minutes. I think that it is the router as it has a fault light and when I turn the power on and off to it the problem vanishes. I read somewhere that the router should be in a seperate socket and not a ganged extension but this makes no difference, can anyone suggest anything please.

Normally the router is the 1st device on the phone socket as it enters your house. 1st NO extensions, 1st, then a filter, then an extension lead (if you must), all extension leads are rubbish, not using the correct cable wire type(solid core) and not twisted pair lines.0

i fit a lot of wired/wireless networks. (cable and adsl). and ive used netgear, belkin and linksys routers.
i try and get clients to buy the netgear routers. (if i supply i always use netgear). sometimes the client has already bought a router.
ive had no end of problems with belkin and linksys routers.
ive had less trouble with the cheapy unbranded ones.Get some gorm.0
