Nationwide credit card additional user

Hello there,
A friend recommended this site and I think it's great. I have a credit card query which I hope someone can advise on.
I have a Nationwide credit card, and would like to add my mother/father as an additional user. My parents are retired and live abroad on just their savings with help from my siblings and me. It costs us a lot to send money by wire transfer and bank drafts, especially in small amounts.
My credit card can be used abroad for free so I was hoping to use this facility to help my parents and save us the fees. Would the bank allow me to put either of them as an additional user as they are not resident in the UK?
Any advice would be welcome.
Thank you.

I tried to do this for my relative couple of years ago - NW requested a proof of address ... It is better to use NW cash card - your parents can use your card to withdraw money abroad.
