Hi Folks,
I'm about to take a N95 on contract with Three and I wondered if it was possible to use ot for voip with my tesco internet phone. If so will it work both using the cellural network and any open wifi network?
Thanks so much
Angus

If you can enter the SIP settings for the service and Three haven't blocked VoIP then you should OK.
Previously Tesco VoIP was only an IAX service but awhile back opened up the main standard of SIP, so people could use the many available SIP phones and SIP ATAs.
Orange and Vodafone do block access.
Though if SIP does work, you may want to look at the many other SIP VoIP providers as Tesco are the dearest along with Skype (who aren't SIP or IAX, but their own proprietary system). It's PAC not PAC Code, it's MAC not MAC Code, it's PIN not PIN Number, it's ATM not ATM Machine, it's LCD not LCD Display, it's DVD not DVD disc... It's no one not noone, It's a lot not alot, It's got not gotten... Panini is the plural of panino - there is no S!!(OK my English isn't great, the sciences, maths & IT are my strong points!)0 -

I use Truphone on my N95 with T-Mobile. It uses either the data network or WiFi if available.0
