A new type of scam
Not sure if folks here have seen this before, but I just got an SMS, iMessage to be precise from ParkingEye letting me know that they are they are more interested in ensuring I make the right payment rather them tacking on additional fees 🤣.
Pasting the message as received. I am redacting the payment link in case someone accidentally clicks on it. Let me know if sharing the actual link is helpful.

I've seen this posted elsewhere and I believe that it is a scam. The clue is that the link starts with eyeparking as opposed to parkingeye.

It's not really new, it looks like the classic copy a genuine website but use your own domain address to scam people.
As always, people should read very carefully the web address (URL) in full up to the first / to ensure you are in the right place. For example, this forum URL https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/
In the example pictures you show above, what is the URL up to the first / ?

- Note how they state ParkingEye customer service whereas their logo always uses lower case after the P
- How would they even get your mobile number to send you a text anyway if you just parked at one of their managed car parks, but of course if a scammer send 1000 of these out it only needs 10 to respond to get them hooked and that £7 turns into a clear out of their bank account.
- The web address (https//eyeparking) is as stated not correct.
And of course Parking Eye are a fake inflated charge company, not a benevolent; oh look you didn't pay the landowner his dues company we'll help you out with that to save you money and pass it on!
Needs reporting to Action Fraud!
