Credit score help
Hello,
I was wondering if anyone can give me advice on how to fight back on credit score being low due to missed payments. When I changed to a new bank account, I updated my phone contract with my new card details but every month they contact me saying I have missed my bill payment.
Thanks so much in advance.

Can you check in your phone app what card details are held by them.
Did you have enough cleared funds in your account when they requested payment?
I know you mentioned card details - but are we talking direct debit here or an actual card paymenT?

You need to raise a complaint with your phone provider to ensure the correct card is being used and to remove any negative credit markers due their error in not collecting the payments.
Never associate with idiots on their own level, because, being an intelligent man, you'll try to deal with them on their level - and on their level they'll beat you every time.

I'll echo what has been said by previous posters - you need to speak to your phone provider to check what payment detail they have on record for you, and what method they're actually attempting to take payment from.
If it's a genuine error on their part, then they should issue a correction to the CRA to remove the negative markers.
As a slight aside, and being pedantic, your score being low is nothing to worry about in itself - only you and the CRAs can see it. But obviously, missed payment markers will have a detrimental effect.

Hi @Rosepetal22 - what contract are you on? Usually nine times out of ten, mobile phone contracts are direct debits so if you changed your bank account, have you set up a new direct debit with the bank for the phone? If not chances are it's going to continue to happen because the mobile phone provider has your old banking details,

How did you change to a new bank acc? CASS or manually?
Have you given mobile co your new account details?
