Time of use comparsion?
Fixed ends 6th September, I'm within the period to leave exit free.
I have a smart meter.
Currently with British Gas - they have Peak Save Sunday - 1/2 electric rate between 11am - 4pm
I don't have an electric vehicle, solar panels, E7, storage heaters and anything else there is.
I tried MSE Cheap Energy to compare, however, they can't compare time of use - which is what I am looking for, too see what other suppliers offer like Peak Save Sunday - days and times.
What sites do people tuse to compare these?

Looks like you have been here a long time, have you read any of the threads about Agile and time shifting.
It really all depends on how much you can time shift and more importantly going into this winter your appetite for risk as it could be a bumpy one.
Anyone putting together a comparison will just get !!!!!! down in flames although you could ask AI to help and perhaps put your own spreadsheet together if you are really interested.

Ah, if that is - Agile and time shifting, think I will leave it, was hoping for something like British Gas's Peak Sunday - preferred early like 7am - felt 11am starting 1/2 price electric a bit late based on my lifestyle, I prefer to get up early and do what I need to do - batch cook etc then just chill rest of the day.
I seen a lot post about time of use and save money when people say don't want a smart meter - seems all about time keeping to do certain tasks - think I'm better off just leaving it.
Looks like I will join Fuse Energy (July 2026 Fixed (13m) V20) - they came up cheapest based on my usage and region.0 -
maybe MSE could do an article - if nothing else listing the companies who offer - as i see users posting ones ive not been aware from some large and smaller players pop up now and again..
ML has been critical that consumers need more protection and help to compare - but they seem happy to report on ev tariffs.
https://blog.moneysavingexpert.com/2025/12/we-need-time-of-use-protection/
Theres a regularly updated article on EV tariffs - but not non ev tou
There are more homes in UK on conventional electric multirate - or maybe even sr now many rts tariffs and legacy tariffs may have gone last June - e.g. for heat flow boilers, even electric heat store boilers (SP web article type distinction) and nsh.
I got an EOn Next pumped mailshot tge othef day - but like others it doesnt just cover heat pumps - but conventional electric boilers. Octopus Cosy now says covers even electric panels / radiators, leaving alcs storage for Snug.
With example times and their rates relative to sr.
for instance theres only 3 non ev tou mentioned in tou section non ev tariffs here - one of which is agile ( which i think mayve should be lumped in with dynamic priced tou like Freephase dynamic, but not fixed price tou which arguable closer to conventional e7/e10 etc but with no Ofgem cap)
Exploring a wider range of options to old fix vs variable now vs ….
Whereas the regularly updated EV list includes a table of c14.
https://www.moneysavingexpert.com/utilities/ev-energy-tariffs/
ev tariffs have carried the smart tou according to the last Ofgem state of the market I read - with about 2.8% on smart half hourly tou tariffs - the majority were EV - as of last July.
But of course most do not have evs - millions of more homes are currently on e7 and other tariffs for electric hesring.
Anc of course - HHS - will - in the suplliers own lobby group own articles words - only benefit those who engage - to me thats take on tou pricing in one form of other.
id quite happily move to some of them if able - but my old heaters are dependent on meter alcs control to sync with off peak rates.
Now if they did alcs along with those tou - that would great - allowing me to get off high e10 rates. As i am used to avoiding say Cosy or one of tge EOn tou 4-7pm anyway (well 4-8 pm peak on my e10 GMT)

SP now gve 8 hrs at reduced rate - iirc they used to fixed - but you can select.
Although the flexible option slots include some at lower savings - but it covered a heavy use vs the dafault being light use normally…

Its a big step from conventional tariffs to likes of agile and EDF Dynamic TOU tariffs - so understand the reluctance.
But time shifting at least to some extent is going to become I suspect increasingly important.
Some people timeshift easily - so Agile suits them - but others dont - and so - Octopus also have a daily market tracker - fixed price per day - not per slot.
Did anyone mention the day price tracker to you ?
Theres a thread on it it here if you want to search and see user comments
I've been on RTS and E10 - both meter controlled - so my electric hot water tank and space heating - been timeshifting itself quite happily - for maybe 15 years plus. And I try to shift showering, washing, cooking etc to match - to fit into the 2 daytime off peak slots. So for me - its normal.
In a normal year - Id suggest summer would be a good time to start banking savings on those sort of deals - as prices can run higher than fixes / SR in winter (high demand / low renewables output days these days).
However I see you've selected a fix.
But if you ever want other options in future - reading that MSE article might be worthwhile.

Me too - I have a fairly flat use of electricity as single user but I am early riser at about 4am. No EV, no solar. Do have working Smart Meters 2. Currently with Octopus on fixed Aug 2025 v6 tarrif which is ending 29th Aug.

I went for EDF Freephase Static ( Fixed for 12 months) no exit fees, 3 different priced timeslots each day to guarantee decent 11pm-6am rate for winter months.
In common with other fixed rates, dearer version was launched week or so ago, SC remains just short of 7p per day cheaper than SVR.
Low users 666 kWh - 1800 kWh per year.can get on low SC trial £6.25 per month per fuel discount if it is still available, sometimes get free electricity periods.
Freephase Dynamic actual rates for last day or 2 as well as past prices.
