Replacement circlips for Vauxhall Corsa seat adjuster mechanisms?

I own a 2002 Corsa Sxi and nearly ran into the same seat linkage detachment issue mentioned on the forum. The factory fitted circlips degrade after years of vibration and regular seat adjustment. I’m searching for durable metric spring steel circlips suitable for interior seat mechanisms.
Has anyone found a reliable supplier for these small retaining fasteners for older Vauxhall models? It’s frustrating how many breakers only sell complete seat assemblies instead of separate small circlip spares.

If you know the size, they are easy enough to buy, otherwise you can buy trays of assorted clips quite cheaply.

I don't know the type, but circlips are just a ring with two holes in for installation with pliers, snap rings have no installation holes (internal/external is where they fit). The ones that slide on sideways are called E clips and the ones that you press onto a shaft (usually to hold the wheels on a cheap pushchair etc.) and they won't come off because the spring tabs won't turn back on themselves are called starlock washers.

If the breaker sells you just the small circlip instead of the complete seat, they're then left with the remains of the seat which will be very difficult for them to sell.

Circlips are available from all sorts of places, all you need to do is measure them. It's more trouble trying to buy how many you need without it being cheaper to buy ten or twenty, and then still being able to find the rest of them when they break again in a year or two.

If you can identify the exact size and type, then look for companies that retail fasteners*, rather than motor suppliers.

    *Nuts,bolts, washers, etc.

    If it sticks, force it.
If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.

Have you tried asking a Vauxhall dealer parts department?

Already suggested earlier, but if they are "conventional" internal/external circlips, an assortment, possibly containing the correct size, maybe bought from Amazon or similar for not much money.
