Ur.co.uk device trade scam?

I’ve traded in my phone to them and sent it via Royal Mail and waiting on their decision on what money they’ll offer. Seen it take months and some people are waiting still even after three months for their payment. Some others have threatened with legal action and then paid. I’m tempted to just ask for the phone back before they offer money.

If it’s comes to it has anyone got a legal court threat draft to send them if they start playing silly buggers and not send money or my phone back as I’ve seen people not have their device sent back either

thanks

Maybe the time to do the due diligence on this firm, when all the stories about how dreadful they are seem to have emerged, was before you sent them your handset?

This isn't really an ebay question, I think it might be better suited to the consumer board- so I'll send it across.

Probably needs merging with the other thread (that the OP has posted on), currently in praise vent and warnings.

so an update, sent them threats regarding trading standards ect… and they agreed to bring my payment date forward to 09/10/2026. Shock still not been paid.

When I email them asking where it is they just say they’re waiting will ask the accounts team for an update, I get no update so again I ask about it and they say they’ll contact them for an update. Their response as a one stated they’ll contact use Microsoft teams to contact the accounts team, but that confusing because it’s an instant messaging software.

anyway sent them final letter before claim and they’ve confirmed they’ve received that so have to wait 14 days to go through small claims.

Anyone managed to get in touch with them successfully or a different avenue?

Doesn't sound like getting in touch with them is the issue.

Just follow through on the small claims process.
