Freestanding bed base
Does anyone know where I can buy a free standing bed base.
I have the headboard and base board but want to replace the base that the mattress goes on.

They don't look like a "headboard and base board" but an integral part of the whole bed frame with custom fittings to join them all together. There are steel platform bed frames available, from Amazon and suchlike, which have screw holes in the legs for attaching headboards but I think there would be too much leverage on that headboard for the legs to cope with. What is wrong with the current mattress support ?

Photo of it with bedding and mattress removed would help so that the existing bed base can be seen.

Worth looking on FB Marketplace to find a suitable bed you can crib the parts from?

I got replacement boards etc from Amazon.

I think NW'65 needs the whole base frame?
So very good chance one can be salvaged from a decent quality head&foot-boarded bed sourced locally, and for very little.
