Morning all
Family party was good fun, gift went down a treat 😃
Finally got the first few hundred pounds cashed out, at the moment the first few cashouts are just going to make up the money I shouldn't have spent in the first place from my budget this month but at least some has finally been paid out.
I am just hanging around at home at the moment until someone can take me to collect my car 😅 then hopefully being taken to lunch by one of my siblings 😊

Just read your diary and followed :)
It's really hard when you're first starting out, but you seem like you're in a positive mindset and able to keep the momentum going.
Looking forward to your updates.

Thank you ☺️
I didn't actually end up doing anything yesterday, I could barely keep my eyes open, plus no one was free to drop me to my car so I had to give in and pay for a taxi to go over and collect it 😐️
Second little cashout landed today, still going towards the shortfall. Caught up on the housework today so I can not have to think about that on my last couple of days off. One one of those OH is going to come around at some point for a 'chat' being very vague, doesn't sound positive from what he is saying but he equally is someone who will over-catastrophise things in his head and shut down, so it may well just be something minor he thinks I will be very mad about, who knows 😂
Having a day out on the river tomorrow with some friends, only expense will be a cheap lunch out as someone else is bringing all of the gear we need for the day out so I am looking forward to that at least 😊 also have some family friends visiting nearby this week so will have a catchup with them at some point 😊

Sometimes you need a day doing nothing, so it won't hurt.
When you say the shortfall - what is that exactly? Sorry I may have missed it on one of your previous posts.

Hello you.
Just had a wee read of your diary.
Bet you just can't wait to be debt free!
BTW you sound so similar to me, I'd also have something lying on a sideboard for weeks. In fact I'm looking at pretty much every surface and there are little piles of clutter - stupid ADHD.
I hate when someone says they need a chat, I am such a stress head so I would be worried about that.
Day on the river sounds fun!

The money I spent gambling in the first place a couple of days before I started this diary (never EVER again) couple more of the cash outs and my bank balance should be back where it is before the money is due for bills, then I'll move onto savings and debt settlements 😊
I do (and have done for a while) strongly suspect I have ADHD it just seems like a huge process for any sort of official diagnosis. Same here on the chat front but I know now that it will be tomorrow evening so we shall see what happens but it is going to be a longgggg 24 hours 😅

Hopefully it's nothing.

Wellllll it was worst case scenario 😅 so that will take some processing
In money terms another cashout has come through, I suspect once I've got my bank account back to where it should be I may want to treat myself to something 😅 trying to focus on the financial positives also I had put some money towards a holiday, sent some money last week towards a dinner we didn't have (due to the riverside restaurant not allowing you to eat outside just one day a week) and paid for both of us to run a 5km this month so should get some money back which I think is mostly fair… unless it's my bitter mind 😂

Oh dear! Is OH no longer OH? It's good you have other things to focus on. It'll be ok.

Appears to be that way! Gives me some extra money in my budget next month as I'm not paying towards a holiday anymore 😅
Today so far has been a fun day at looking online at small chest freezers as this will be a pre-planned purchase when I have the money available and will be used purely for batch cooked meals, I have a little space under my stairs and no space in my teeny tiny fridge freezer that I currently have!
