CCJ on credit report on old address
Hello all,
I have just checked my credit report and found this:
C o u r t n a m e: C I V I L N A T I O N A L B U S I N E S S C E N T R E
C o u r t t e l e p h o n e : 0 3 0 0 1 2 3 1 0 5 6
D a t e o f j u d g m e n t: 2 4 J U L Y 2 0 2 6
I paid trust online for the report and the CCJ has been issued on my old address. I am aware you have to update your address with the PCN company/solicitors, however, I am not sure who issued the CCJ or which PCN it relates to. I have not received a claim to my new address.
Any advice?
Thanks in advance

Hi I have the details.
The claim was issued by civil enforcement limited for a PCN last year for exceeding the 2 hour free parking limit and sent to my old address.
The claim was issued on 26-06-26 according the the form civil national business centre sent me.
Is there any other relevant information you need from me?

And what was the date of the "parking event"?

Hey all, I was thinking apply for a set aside for the CCJ as noted in the beginners thread.
Is it likely to get the set aside fee refunded by the claimant as this fee is higher than the amount to settle the CCJ?
Also does the fee get refunded only if the claim is dropped or can it be refunded by the claimant who can then still bring the case to you.

Hang about.
Show us the particulars of claim that you asked the CNBC to email to you.
And when did you change address?

So the parking event was at the end of June 2025 and you moved a few weeks later unaware of the PCN at all? Or did appealing the PCN get forgotten in the move?
There might be a cheaper way to do this.
I've never seen any evidence that CEL bother with soft traces before litigation. They are far and away the most prolific at claims going to old addresses and they've caused default CCJs galore, for years

No I was aware of the PCN and tried appealing as the registered keeper, that appeal got rejected on 10th July 2025.
