Citroen c3 mhev ev mode no longer after recall

i was told by the main dealer that the recall software update had cut ev mode out so doesnt run on electric only which it did before recall even at 50mph and after a 250 mile run still didnt work.
citroen dont have a fix for it yet no time scale!

That's the answer then. Citroen is an economy brand, they have issues and are not perfect. Also, the French aren't renowned for their knowledge/skill in the subject of electrics.

It's certainly true that in the past French cars were renowned for electrical issues, and that may still be the case with Citroen, whose cars have always been somewhat quirky. However, I'm not sure you can tar all French manufacturers with the same brush these days, in particular Renault seem to be one of the better European manufacturers of EVs, I'm very much considering a 5 as my next car.
