Here we go again, joined a new gym and seems like the pad didnt register my plate properly.

Please do let me know what i can say in the appeal to britannia as it seems like the reject everything anyway. Any chance of POFA here it seems like they have it covered.

Ye i did contact the Gym to cancel this but they said they cant do it. That was my plan A

Whoever signed the contract with Britannia Parking can cancel it, even if the gym can't, so plan A-a

It says 'failed to make a valid payment' and that it was at the Army & Navy:

So complain to the Army & Navy and other stores there too. One manager might hate Britannia and cancel it for you. You only need one store manager on your side. Give it a go even though you in fact used the gym not the shops.

Then go and get photos of:

• the entrance and signage there
• the t&cs signs in the car park
• general wide views showing a lack of signs
• the screen/keypad in the gym and lack of prominent signs near it.

Then show us those images.

good idea, let me try them shops and see what happens. Normally if keypad is in use shouldn't it say valid permit required to park as well?

Yes but Britannia doesn't know yet, that you were a gym patron.

I contacted other shops nearby and they don't know how to cancel this charge. I took further photos of the car park and the entrance to the gym and literally no signs in gym stating to put in your number plate :-

You need a close-up pic of this hidden tablet:

I spied that in the corner on the staff desk and think that is the gym's VRM time-extending screen/tablet (yet the signs outside don't mention it). I wondered what that unremarkable white piece of paper says, too. Get close-ups.
