restricted street fines - worth appealing ?
a bit of advice please.
Received a letter today saying that a vehicle in my name had entered a restricted street between 3.15 - 3.45 in coventry east street .
The driver went to a storage unit to ask about prices and must have missed the signs about the restrictions.
Has anyone successfully overturned one of these fines or is it best just to pay the £35 .
thanks

Presumably its a Penalty Notice from the council. ? ( not a fine. )
Try the FTLA parking forum website

Was ticket issued during term time as it's a safer schools scheme street.

sadly yes , the driver left the storage unit took a right instead of a left - will go there today and see what signs are in place .

Assuming the signage is intact, I'm not local.

However, I live in Coventry.

Yes the signs are in place ( i checked today ) - the issue is the signage is on the bottom of Read street - when the driver passed it was around 2 o'clock turned into the access storage . when he left the unit it was about 90 mins later he turned right back on to Read street then left into the Hatched area on the map . There are no signs in place after leaving the storage unit so he would have to remember it is a restricted area from when he first passed it.

PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
