How can I escalate extremely poor customer service to a regulator or body? Does anyone regulate this in UK?

It's not really possible to answer without more information. What sort of product/service is involved, provided by which retailer?

In general, no, retail is not regulated. If you want to enforce your rights, you do it yourself (though "poor customer service" isn't necessarily something which triggers any legal rights).

You cant. It’s shopping. Nobody is regulating that.

Shop elsewhere if you feel the service is poor.
