    Hi guys

maralum it's really difficult to get anything done when little ones are poorly and clingy, you have my sympathy and best wishes for Freya that she makes a speedy recovery x

    You feeling better Serena?

Just having 5 minutes on here whilst I'm waiting for MIL to pick littley up. Not done anymore flying since I last posted oops :o Been having a messaging convo with facebook guy though ;)
  • Evening all

Im back with feet starting to touch the ground. Had my meetings for the week which did me so many hrs that i got today off. (sort of, went in for an hr.)

Came back and searched for my passport. Was meaning to do it today since Dusty (i think it was) mentioned it a few weeks ago :o . I knew it was in date as i had started to do the app to have it renewed in time for March. Anyway whilst in my meeting i had a phone call from the BF to ask if i wanted to go to Denmark with him next weekend! Oh ok go on then! :D Now i have to find out if i can travel with 3 months left. Know i need 6 months for Australia US etc but this is EU.

So did a load of tidying trying to find it and couldnt. Then remembered i left it in work where the application was. Im so thick sometimes!!! :wall: So i have done all the filing. tided my room, the lounge, the spare room. Put some washing on. Cleaned the bathroom. Washed up, wiped down the kitchen.

Went into town and had lunch with my friend and we talked wedding stuff (im chief bridesmaid) and while she had drs appoint i went and spent my christmas vouchers. Got 3 sets of bras and pants, another 5 pairs of pants and some pjs with my £35 la Senza voucher :jand then a pair of really smart jeans from River Island.

Right i must now hoover everywhere and wave some baby wipes around before i do supper and put the washing out and another load in. Once animal park has finished its time for a HHC from 7 - 7.30pm. Anyone else up for 1?

Have you now!? Good for you! I hope you get his relationship status thing cleared up,I don't want you being messed about.

Evening all, I'm one hand typing and sat on the other to warm it up so I may be slow.. It's so cold in the house this evening, if I'm doing any flying it'll have to be in the warmest room 'cos I'm not in the mood to be tearing around generating heat. Maybe paperwork and filing in front of the fire. Brrrr. I'd rise to a half hour challenge maybe (rude not to) but I won't be throwing down any gauntlets myself.

Car got through its MOT with only wiperblades to replace which I lazily let them do there and then. Spent half the day in a freezing barn in front of a freezer trying repeatedly to get hold a service engineer on a dodgy mobile. Brrr again.

I deserve a glass of wine. Help yourselves.

    Evening everyone

I'm really grateful to you, pigpen, for posting your photos. It's funny how immune I have got to the mess in DD's room, and when it is improved think of it as tidy. Your photos made me look at it through completely new eyes. Despite knowing that my DD is congenitally lazy, messy, scatty, dirty, slovenly etc etc, it was quite a shock to see how bad 'reasonable' actually is!!!

Having spent time in there today, my photographs (if I had the wherewithal to do so) would look similar to yours - and that's after flying. :o Need to get the filthy mare to do more - had a chat about bed bugs last week, and she did actually vacuum her mattress for the first time! :rotfl:So there is some hope....

thanks for all the birthday wishes. it has been an, erm, interesting day!!!

OH woke me with a lovely present of an ipod ( i had dropped a few hints...) :) then had to drive 2.5 hours home in horrendous rain - very tiring! have spent since then chasing my tail, half of it in tears :(. think everything is sorted now but stuff like arranging a bed delivery, realising how much there is to do before i move house on monday, a leaving/birthday part with the kids i've been working with for 5 years+, visiting a friend who is a week overdue with her first baby. row over MSN with OH, he dared to moan about something so he got all my wrath...

am now on the phone to the insurers about changing my contents policy...seems to be taking forever! might have been better to start again! grrrr. still haven't managed to phone my gran back or my dad, or my mum.... and OH will be here in 45 thankfully we're just going for a curry. oh, and the hotel we're having the wedding at have been in touch and they have overbooked guests for our wedding. excellent. just what i need!

sorry, rant over, but i can understand now why i feel stressed at least!!!

Hello all, been out playing all afternoon with DS so didn't get in till 6pm and then DH followed me in so just got a quick whizz round, sorted all the dry washing then bathed DS, cuddle time and bed.

Now cooking tea, burgers from the butchers with chips and salad - we've given up takeaways so thought a treat tea would stop us having a chippie and my one glass of wine.

Aimee - new chap sounds fab
Solway - glad car passed, its nevre wrecking when you don't know how nuch it'll cost
maralum - hows DH job? Big hugs for LO and you
Serena - good luck at your interview, sorry meant to offer you a hug for your mum, it must be so hard.

And ladies - tonight I've got 2 episodes of Spooks to watch with DH. That means two lovely hours watching Rupert Penry-whatshisname aka Adam Carter *swoon* LOL

Right, Georgie just about cooked burgers - have a fab friday night folks!
