Hiya
I've finished work and DH has taken the children riding so I have about 15 minutes to catch up.
Lilo - positive vibes to you, good luck!
Rach - happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday dear Rach...happy birthday to you.
Welcome to all the newbies.
I'm only up to page 35 so i'll add some more when I've read another page xx
Aghhhh! My computer froze and now i've run out of time to read the thread. I'm going to have a 15 minutes whizz round before children come in. Then it's to my parents for birthday tea for DS and hopefully not too late a night as i'd like to curl up and read my book later. Only working a half day tomorrow as i've decided to do two half day Saturday's a month so we spend more time as a family with DH being away so much. Really looking forward to having the afternoon off. Saying that, DS has been invited to a friends to play and so has DD so it's just me and OH. Might suggest a bit more floor could go down (and then I could curl up and read some more of my book!).
Might speak later over a nice glass of wine.
Do any of you do card making? I'm thinking of getting all my old stuff out and giving it another go now the children are a bit older. Can't remember where I put it all!
Speak later xxJanuary budget

Just back from school run and swimming lessons, so cold and wet that I have had to have a prawn cocktail crisp sandwich and a nice red stripe. Mmm, trailer trash r us.
I did do my HHC, and got all of upstairs done and Dysoned. Need to do another one on the ground floor before DH arrives with SSs. 5-5.30 I think. Have gammon in ginger ale on (experiment, we had no coke!), and I need to make some flapjack or something for pudding.
Any ideas for where I can a decent diary? We usually get loads at work so I havent bothered, but there are none left and I need a decent one for my consultancy work? I tried TK Max and Asda today without any luck.'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0 -

Hello all,
Not too bright here at the minute. That's not just the weather either. DD has been poorly with a cough/cold/eye infection/ear infection combination caused by a virus for nearly six weeks now. She's slowly changing from my lovely, bubbly baby into a constantly whingeing, clingy nightmare. We went to the doctor again today. As usual, the doctor says that nothing can be done for a virus, just lots of fluids and calpol. Any other suggestions of how to make her happy again???
I've only managed to do one HHC today as wee one wouldn't let me move more than two feet out of her personal space (and I had to be staring directly at her at all times). Managed to s&s the kitchen and sitting room, but the rest of the house is a sty.
Happy birthday Rach, hope DS3 calms down soon pigpen and big hugs and hellos to all who need them. x0 -

Or better still next to the bin, can you imagine how quickly they would get the bags and take them back upstairs? Thats if i'm brave enough, never tried it before but i may to see what happens.0 -
Also, what can I cook with spicy bean burgers? I don't have any bread rolls!0

Well Ive caught up again, the hour challenge on Mount Washmore went well, and I was inspired so I carried on and did some more once I collected DS. So, although basket not empty, its only got todays drying so Im pleased - plus I managed to get all the grotty bits like duvets and shirts done!!! DS room not too bad, we are really lucky that he is quite tidy, although he is only 4 so there is plenty of time to change!!!
HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO RACH - 30!!!!!! And just entering the best years of your life!!! These are the best ones, enjoy each and every moment of them Youve got the confidence to go out and get anything in your life you want = go for it!!!!!!!!!
Serena - big hugs to you, just go at your own pace, there is no blueprint to how you need to cope with things
The drugs havent started to cut in yet, but tonight I start the ones that develop multiple eggs, hopefully at least 5, so I might get a 'bit revved up!' (at least hubby is hoping!!!) So 2 jabs tonight - I start to look like a pin cushion.

Huge big thank you's to shell, mumoftwo, and liloandstitch. We're a very close family, mum has been more of a friend than mother for years now, and I really miss being able to natter to her on the phone - used to ring at least a couple of times a week, sometimes every day. I do feel badly that I can't manage to get over there to see her more often, but trying to juggle everything else as well - well, you already know all that! We're just very lucky that as a family, we get along so well. I know from friends that it isn't always the case.
I did manage a quick trip downtown and moved some money around, covering the cost of the redecorating. Surprising how it adds up! I treated myself to a book, and also a trip to Boots, so new makeup, which they practically gave to me...see the Boots thread for details!:D
I have also sorted out all the paperwork I need for the interview tomorrow -can anyone tell me why my marriage certificate was in the middle of the insurance section in my file? And in the end I emptied every single piece of paper to find the birth certificate. Well, I suppose I get some credit, as they were all actually in the file box!!
Must must go cook dinner...It is never too late to become what you were always intended to be0 -
