Had lunch, recycling lorry has finally been - 2 days late after a 4 week break, so brought the box back in from the rain and started refilling it. Fed the birds whilst out there.

Stock cooking. Just having a cuppa then going to hoover stairs and finish the tidying/hoovering up there. Bathroom after that and I've not been in the shower yet - might treat myself to a lay in the bath actually whilst there is nobody in the house to pester me.

Pigpen what are your top tips for wearing killer shoes? I will buy those party feet of course! can I sand the soles of them to make them less slippy?

Have a bag big enough to pop some comfy slip on shoes in!! You never realise how much your feet hurt until you are standing waiting for a taxi that it late.. :D

If you take the shoes into a cobblers they can add a rubbery sole which is non-slip.. I've only ever had to have 3 pairs done after REALLY hurting my knee almost falling over... in 4 inch heels!! With my size 4 feet lol

sticky plasters on the soles work too.. the fabric ones blend in with the pale sole colours and work well.

NO DANCING!! lol.. unless you've nicked those comfy shoes out of your bag.. the dress is long enough to hide them.. well.. if you are less than 5 ft 5 it is.

Afternoon all! Just caught up on the thread, really sorry I can't remember lots but hello, hugs and waves to everyone!

Been out swimming lessons this morning - got back into changing rooms and couldn't open the locker. Fortunatley someones Mum helps her with her LO so was dressed to fetch staff in for me and I'd left the towels out so keep DS warm, people were lending me their towels to stay warm while they bashed my locker in with a hammer!!! Could only happen to me!

Was also a bit stressed as we over slept this morning, had to wake DS at 8.30am, he went to bed at 7pm and had 2 hours in the day - is that normal?

Got a few jobs to do this afternoon, I've not kept up the past few days so must try a bit with upstairs.

Anyone up for a HCC at say 1.30pm - time for a cuppa first!

    What a nightmare traceyg

That's the worst bit about swimming, when you come out and make your way to the locker and then changing room, isn't it, so it must have been really chilly having to wait - as long as stressful worrying about getting all your stuff out.

    Hugs

Pigpen, we are staying at a hotel for the wedding, so won't get a taxi and can nip up to the room for a pair of babydoll shoes :D and I don't usually dance anyway!

I did more Plagio stuff, including a HUGE email. So do I have to go do some flying now? awww!!!!

DS2 has a DVD on so I can nip up with a coffee and look sternly at the rooms up there.

tracyg how old is DS? He may just be tired, or growing, or taking advantage of the winter to snooze. Most folk at our local baths just leave their stuff in the lockers... gits.... and can I ask who the hot guy is on your avatar? *licks lips*

I'm up for a half hour challenge, got time to make a coffee first too!

    Thanks Rumbly!

To be honest I was trying to laugh but after about 5 mins of jiggy it about I started to panic - my phone, wallet and car keys were all inside. It was funny in the end but the staff then left the locker without a warning sign on it, I had to stop another woman putting her stuff in.

It was freezing as the pools really warm for the LO's and it was very odvious (sp) I was chilling LOL!!!!

Anyone a HHC , don't leave me hanging girls! Make me get off my butt!
