Then 2.25 (I think) at the Co-@p on a cucumber and orange juice. I forgot the cucumber in S@insbury's and was going to trek to Aldi for the OJ. However, it had been a stressful day; and I just wanted to have everything in, and not have to go back out. So, I took the hit with the more expensive drink 🫰🏻

declaring late for august as I’ve been away.

Spent £381.77/£400.

Really pleased with that as I’ve eaten from stores and only stocked up on fresh stuff, milk and laundry/dishwash/paper products.

September shoul also be reasonably good as we are eating through our freezer stash to make space for festive meats and items from garden like beans, tomatoes (in sauce form) and apples to see us through winter.

I've just succumbed to an Abel and Cole order.

£10 off a £20 spend and a free bottle of olive oil. Plus alot of things I can't get elsewhere had 10% off.

I tried to make yoghurt last time with a normal soya milk and a Sojade yoghurt and it failed. So, I've ordered sojade yogurts again (pack of 4). Easier for me as I don't need to open a full tub the days I do fancy some. I also ordered a High protein Sojade milk. So hoping the two together will yield some nice yoghurt and I can start making my own 🤞🏻. I also got a plant based selection. Nice to try something different. And a Plenish almond milk and kallo stock cubes. With delivery came to £15.46 (incl the olive oil) I still have the bottle from last time also. I've used it so sparingly as I knew I couldn't afford to buy another one.

There's a coupon for the next three orders also. So I'll maybe or maybe not use those depending on what's on offer. It's cheaper for me to get veggies on the Fresh Monday offers on the delivery apps, even if A &C's is nicer and lasts longer; so I didn't get any fruit or veg from A & C this time around.

Definitely won't continue ordering after these codes expire. Just taking advantage of a good deal. Hopefully, there will be some more, before the next three orders are completed.

Maybe the last one can be a few nice treats for the big C. I've saved up my Tesc@ clubcard points too. So can practically do a free shop in December as I've got about £70 so far.

I've also added £2.52 from bulk buys. I've opened the second coffee I bought in bulk.

Still need to add the I wonder what's next order, but I won't need to open anything until the next grocery challenge. So, I will add that total to September, once I've totted it up.

Anyways, I've bust the budget a bit, but next month is looking good 😊

99p on a protein loaf from Aldi! 50% off. I could have baked my own but it will make my flour just stretch that bit further. Also, a massive cabbage for £0.89p.

I bought some other stuff but I'm counting those as next months purchases, unless any are opened before Friday then I will edit this post.

I noticed today that they have got loose baking potatoes, and sweet potatoes. The baking potatoes are only 24p, so good if you're on your own like me. I don't want to buy a full sack just yet.

Funnily enough @K9sandFelines I noticed those 24p baking potatoes in our Aldee yesterday too. Primarily because someone was having a good auld rootle thru and was (probably) wanting to buy a set number, by the careful way they were putting them in their trolley. But I purposely looked back to see the price, and thought it a very good option. Being able to buy the amount you need/want is often just as money saving as economies of scale, isn't it?

Definitely. I mean I've not even used mine yet since buying it. So, I'd rather 24p sit there, than £3odd. Once the weather properly cools down then I will buy a sack
