Cheaper Car Insurance after accident recommand?

HI,

I have 7 year no claims, had a accident in 2024 both fault. My cars golf 2011 1.4L.

But I'm getting quotes of £900.

Anyone recommand any providers?

It would mean a lot. Thanks.

Do you mean you had 2 fault accidents in 2024? Was your no claims protected at the time? Some insurers only protect for one claim in so many years, but your premiums may still increase despite the protection.

7 years doesnt sound right… after two fault accidents even with NCDP you would have been down to 3 years then

    2025 - 4

    2026 - 5

Unless they were on different policies or straddling the policy year.

Ultimately shop around, there is no single best insurer/broker else there would only be one insurer/broker. Aggregators will cover a good proportion of the market, then old school on the remaining players that dont engage with aggregators… Adrian Flux and Acorn (not recommendations) probably worth checking too as they specialise in harder to place business
