Parking Eye PCN

n from PE for over staying in asda car park. Need some advice please.

One thing is header says parking charge notice reminder but this is the first letter received. Is it the original pcn and some kind of error by PE? Usually reminder are sent after 28 days of non payment.

Also if this is the original pcn then i think its non compliant with pofa as it fails to incdule mandotry wording required by 9(2)(f)

Also fails to comply with 9(2)(a) no period of parking just entry and exit time which are not actual period of parking

Can someone please have a look and advice?

PEye used to send the Reminder after 14 days to my recollection but those dates suggest they are now sending them after 7 days since the PCN.

But you didn't get the PCN.

Why don't you get this cancelled by popping into ASDA with it? They'll do it in seconds.

But it's not the first PCN.

Great news! Landowner / retailer complaint is always the first step, not appeal.

Interestingly, this is the second one we've seen from PEye where the first letter thru the door is the 'Reminder' dated a mysteriously close seven days after a reportedly non-existent PCN. Leaving the recipient with little or no discount time at all.

As I said on the other thread like it, I would be gobsmacked if 'ANPR giant' industry dominant Macquarie-owned PEye are spending twice the money on postage in all TWO MILLION PCNs they issue.

Who believes that is happening? 🤣
