2 Year claim DCB Legal. No letters previously from Parking Eye
Hey all,
Had this letter just come through the post. I was a guest at a Hilton and put my registration onto their system. Suddenly 2 years later I have a LOC from DCB legal demanding £340?
I have never had any letter from Parking Eye about this claim at all.
What do I do? I was a guest at the hotel. Tried calling DCB Legal and they said “get legal advice”
Thanks

Are you the Registered Keeper. ? RK ? Or was the vehicle a hire or lease or company vehicle. ?
If its your vehicle, get out the V5c log book and check that the details are correct, especially the address
Study the advice in the 2nd post in the newbies sticky thread in announcements near the top of the forum

It's a minor point but they also have 'rights and responsibilities under the preaction protocol for debt' namely (para 3) that they are required to enclose a reply form, information sheet and financial statement not just refer you to a website to download and print them for yourself

Shows what? We are asking about the address.
Does it show your current address?
Bottom left of the V5C, what date was the address updated? Was it after the date of parking? If yes, that's why you got no PCNs because they went to your old address onthe DVLA record at that time.

Ignore DCB but I would massively complain to the Hilton.
This has court claim > discontinue early 2027 written all over it.
