MCR airport drop off £170 fine
Hi
I’d like to appeal a debt recovery, I did pay the £5 parking fee albeit 2 days late.
Where do I find the template to appeal a parking charge from apcoa MCR airport?
I did appeal however they report not receiving it and now has been passed to a debt recovery centre. I had been waiting for an appeal response.
I did pay the parking charge albeit 48 hours later when it should be within 24 hours. I am
reluctant to pay £170 fine as it seems unfair and I did actually pay the parking charge. I have proof in my bank statement.

Definitely NOT a fine, just a pcn invoice from APCOA
IGNORE the powerless debt collectors letters like from debt recovery companies.
There is no appeal option with debt collectors
Put a complaint in as keeper to APCOA using the link on the BPA AOS members list and reiterate the appeal and its date, plus proof of payment
DO NOT REVEAL WHO WAS DRIVING, you are complaining or appealing as KEEPER only
and i repeat, IGNORE the powerless debt collectors letters, no contact, no phoning, no emails, no letters
Study the AIRPORT group thread for more information about airport cases. ( Heathrow, Gatwick, Manchester. )

I wouldn’t lie awake expecting a positive reply (or any reply). The private parking sector isn’t like John Lewis or M&S.

I’m three letters in now from debt recovery
I did pay the drop off charge albeit 72 hours later
No reply from Apcoa - sent two complaints
I wasn’t driving
Do I pay the fee or hold out?

Hold out! Nobody pays whilst the sector is unregulated.

Don't be daft. I just posted on another thread where you replied today, to tell you how to end this scam. So simple that I don't know why people don't think of it.

I wanted to update you with a decision from APCOA after 3 complaints, 3 debt recovery letters and persistence.
My parking fee has been cancelled as it’s my vehicles first offence (n.b I did pay the drop of fee albeit late)
Thank you to all those that helped support my complaints.4 -
Nice result, if somewhat unusual. Once the hooks are in, PPCs and DRAs rarely let go voluntarily. Any chance of having the gist of your complaints, and to whom please?

There was no offence committed, so how can they state its the first offence?
