Looks like a pretty good deal to me - check to see if the phone is locked to Virgin though -

Fairly recently I bought a phone from Carphone Warehouse (...or Crap-phone !!!!!house as a friend once described it). The helpful and frinedly staff told me that all their phones were unlocked EXCEPT Virgin. HTHJust because somebody is certain doesn't mean they are right!0

Just had a look. Not bad. But found another 1 with them for £0 when bought with £10 credit on virgin (£4.95 on Orange or £19.95 on T- mobile)
Motorola F3 Blue (Pay As You Go)
Not too hi-tech. but not bad for the price.

Just checked quidco and it looks like you get £5 cashback. not bad
" £5 - for other phone sale, including SIM only contracts - on
a per transaction basis, not per phone"0 -
Or have a look at Quidco, where you can get £10 back on all PAYG at phones 4 u . I'd avoid the motorolla F3 black - the WORST phone I have ever used_____________________________________________

The Motorola F3 is very basic - more like the cheap remote controls you get with cheap equipment. It feels like a think piece of plastic - no buttons just a plasic overlay - looks like a basic non-colour screen too. Ok as a glovebox emergecy phone though.

the Nokia 2310 cannot be unlocked for free by the way, only by the network that supplies it or if you can find a shop/market stall to do itEx forum ambassador

Looks like it gets credited after 8 days. Would a been nice if they just gave you a voucher. £10 credit wiv a fiver cashback and a cheap plasticy phone thrown in.The £10 credit you get - is this a separate voucher, or is it pre loaded on the sim card?- Pay As You Go phones and Pay As You Go SIM cards purchased online or through our telesales division come with inclusive airtime credit.
- The airtime credit will be applied to your account automatically on the 8th day after purchase. This is to comply with distance selling regulations.

I take it this is when bought from a store, though, not online. Due to distance selling regs which allow you to return things within 7 days, cpw/e2save credit the £10 to your account when you buy online, rather than sending a voucher.0
