Parkmaven pita !

Long time since I’ve been active on here.

As the title suggests I’ve received a PCN from these scammers (Parkmaven), nearly 6 months ago I purchased in advance parking for my work vehicle at one of their locations.

I actually used the location a couple of times after as well and got another PCN from them.

Upon getting the PCN in my email inbox I duly responded with everything requested to appeal, this was dealt with via a third party our company uses for fleet management. Never heard anything back until the second PCN landed. So I duly responded and appealed again with all the documentation, and again never heard anything back from them.

Fast forward 2 month and a final notice appears for the first PCN, saying I hadn’t appealed. So I went through the process of sending everything through again to fleet management.

Fast forward another month and the next letter is from dcbl threatening court, now at this time I wasn’t in a mentally stable state due to family reasons, but again went through all the appeals process with dcbl.

This last week they’ve raised their !!!!!! heads again, more court threats etc

Fleet have written back today wholly disputing this ticket, again providing proof to dcbl that the parking was valid and had all the correct details on etc, they wanted to see bank statements to prove it had been paid but they got told to do one as we’ve already provided more than the required documents. Now we’ve registered it as in dispute hopefully they’ll pass it back to Parkmaven.

Looking back at all the communication Parkmaven never acknowledged any appeal, never sent us a Popla code to appeal that way either.

I’d love to take these w*****s to court for Harassment.

The saga continues ….

again went through all the appeals process with dcbl.

There isn't one 😉 Stop engaging with powerless debt collectors.

You're on the usual DCB conveyor belt. Don't worry.

Someone will offer some practical advice in a mo…

The registered keeper should have received something in the post

Upon getting the PCN in my email inbox

    From the Plain Language Commission:

"The BPA has surely become one of the most socially dangerous organisations in the UK"

It appears that the OP is not the RK, so received a copy of the ntk pcn in their email inbox, probably caused by the company or hire or lease company forwarding the pcn by email, but should have named the OP as hirer etc

The NTO went to the fleet company first, then made its way to me to send in any appeal.

I know how these companies work I’ve been here before, this time is different as in it’s a fleet management company fighting the ticket as they know I paid.

The fleet company is looking at legal options to fight this now, Fraud by False Representation was mentioned earlier when they were speaking with their solicitors.

    All I know is I ain’t paying a penny !

    No, they won't.

You actually want the DCB Legal court claim but do NOT talk about fraud.

Are you saying the Defendant will be (not a person but) your company you work for?

    Or your company you own?

PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

When your fleet company sent it to you for appeal, did they transfer liability by using the correct procedure on the NTO/NTK or just send you the paperwork they received? Did you receive a PCN in your name?

Fleet got in touch again today with the company I work for, I’m not being held liable for this as I’ve paid and work agree I’ve done nothing wrong.

However work told fleet to just go ahead and pay just to shut em up ! 🙄

Disgusting that Parkmaven keep getting away with this as do other parking w@nkers.
