    Do you ever get bored of making baseless accusations against the motor industry?

    Some dodgy places can get dodgy MOTs, and should be punished appropriately, but I suspect it's statistically around 0.


    Testers covering their backsides in a culture that's faster to sue, complain or make a scene if something fails later, is the more likely case.

    The MOT tester can't be penalized for being thorough. And I'd rather that that the opposite. The guy I get to do my MOTs is strict as hell, but it means when you get a clean report you know the cars good.
