Cambelt Intervel Citroen C3
I have a 2011 citroen c3 1.6 HDi. I have owned the car for about 16 months current mileage on the clock 115000 miles. The previous owner changed the cambelt at 65000 miles. Its got full service history and has always been serviced on time.
I phoned the citroen dealer and been told that cambelt does not need changing for another 50000 miles which seems really high.
Can any body comment on the cambelt change interval?
Thanks

10yrs/112k but they like to strip the teeth before then.
Personally I'd go for half that. Ask yourself why the previous change was done at 65k...

Renewing the cambelt around 60k miles seems like cheap insurance to me…

Perhaps the previous owner had gone over the 10 year mark but not done the mileage as its a 2011 model.
