Civil Enforcement - Wrong Reg
Hi, we have just returned from holiday to get a PCN, we had paid for parking but used the wrong reg on the RingGo app.
Is it best to just follow the process you outline or try appealing as we have actually paid

If you read the NEWBIE sticky, you will see that Plan A is best followed by appeal.

If you appeal explaining about paying for the wrong car, they must offer you settlement at £20 which you might decide is OK.
If not, just play the ignore game all year and see it off by defending a court claim. CEL are discontinuing all defended cases before any hearings right now and the CMA's announcement last week will spook the industry even more.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
