Car Insurance For New Car - Delayed Substitution Not Available

Run a temp ins quote. May be a lot cheaper than you think.

The best temp insurance I could find was £75 for 2 weeks. Not unreasonable but in the end I bought an annual policy for the new car.
Cancellation within 14 days on the annual policy will cost me about £43, so reckoned I'd just go with that.
So it's cheaper should I decide to return the car and if I keep it, the insurance job is already done.
My current car stays insured under the existing policy and I'll just cancel it when I get rid of the car. Co-op's £50 cancellation fee will exceed any refund due, so I'll get nothing back but have nothing to pay.
Thanks to all who replied.

You could've delayed the new car until the pick up date of the old one
