TV 'Dirty Screen' marks?

I have a 5 year old LG LG-OLED55C14LB TV purchased with a 6 year warranty from Richer
Sounds.

It has developed what I describe as dirty marks on the picture. These are not really noticeable unless there is a large area of colour such as the green pitch of a football game.

Richer Sounds say it is screen burn. I accept that the circular screen burn in the bottom left side is screen burn from frequent pause and fast forward etc with Sky+ use but are the dirty marks really caused by screen burn?

I have run the LG OLED care and pixel cleaning a few times with no improvement.

Richer Sounds say I have no warranty claim although they have offered me a discount on a
new TV.

They have suggested: 'try a 'Pixel Refresh Test' which we find can unstick, stuck pixels on a TV alleviating these symptoms you're experiencing. We recommend casting the below 10 hour video from your phone/device to your TV and leaving this on several times over a weeks period. It's worth noting the video contains quite intense flashing colours so to be aware of anyone with photosensitivity as a precaution.

Below are some pictures. Three are normal TV, three are solid colour images from a test DVD.

Comments and advice please.

A man walked into a car showroom.
He said to the salesman, “My wife would like to talk to you about the Volkswagen Golf in the showroom window.”
Salesman said, “We haven't got a Volkswagen Golf in the showroom window.”
The man replied, “You have now mate".

The broader cloudy or dirty-looking patches are more consistent with uneven OLED panel wear, sometimes called dirty-screen effect, mura or uneven luminance. It can become most obvious on football pitches, grey test screens and other large areas of uniform colour. Richer Sounds may still class it as “uneven pixel degradation”, which is often excluded from extended guarantees along with burn-in, but I would ask them to state precisely what diagnosis they have made.

Bear in mind that even if it is covered by Richer Sounds "guarantee" you don't get a new TV, just a discount off a new one.

Tall, dark & handsome. Well two out of three ain't bad.

On my Samsung RS had local approved Samsung repairer fitting new panel after a failed repair.

Yours is far worse than mine was.

I've allways been looked after well by RS.
