UKPC LTD and DCB legal LTD Court claim has arrived
Hi everyone,
I thought I would post in here and ask a couple of questions. I have received a court claim form N1SDT from DCB Legal Ltd regarding an alleged parking contravention. My questions are regarding the LBA which I do not believe I received. I was wondering if given the short time to reply to this (28 days from date of service) if it's worth submitting a SAR or if this is purely a waste of time?
I will be collecting evidence and following the helpful defence threads on the newbies page but was just wanting other peoples opinions regarding SAR's these days?
Thank you in advance!

Don't bother, defend the N1SDT Money Claim
You can collect evidence for the WS stage in 6 to 12 months time, meanwhile, use the defence template in announcements
Post the Issue date from the top right of the claim form below
Also post a redacted picture of the POC from the lower left of the claim form below after hiding the VRM details first

Thank you for the reply! I wasn't sure if that was the method these days as I have actioned SAR before.
Date of claim form is 06/07/2026
Below is the redacted POC.

With an issue date of 06/07/26 and providing you complete(d) the AoS before or on 25/07/26 your defence deadline date is 4.00 p.m. on 10/08/26

Template defence and write a brief denial for paragraph e.g. no signs, nothing to denote no parking permitted, or whatever your reason were.
It'll be discontinued so no need to go into specifics unless you have a good reason.

Thanks for the replies! The AOS has been completed. I have attached imaged of the signage and alleged contravention site. The signage is not clear where you can or can't park ( this being a petrol station). Id like to know other thoughts on this,
Thanks!

"
The signage is not clear where you can or can't park (this being a petrol station)."Well your para 3 will say the above then you'll be quoting from the CMA about why they've just opened a consumer protection investigation about the conduct of another ANPR firm … at petrol stations!
No link. You MUST have seen us discussing this since last week!
