Mortgage 6 years after DRO approved

Just looking for some advice really if anyone has been in the same situation. My DRO drops off my credit file on 28/7/26. I am looking at getting a mortgage will Main Street lenders consider me after this date? Or can anyone recommend any high street banks/building societies that will?

Have you checked all the debts in your DRO defaulted on or before the date your DRO began?
So after the end of the month, there will be no problems (missed payments, payment arrangements, defaults etc) showing on your credit record?

If sll will be clear, talk to a mortgage broker. You will not need a bad credit broker and you should not have to pay for this. but a broker will know which high street lenders are fussier. And it will also depend on who the old problem debt lenders were.

You should not have a big problem if you will pass deposit and affordability checks. But it is foolish to rely on this and apply to a lender yourself.
