Obtaining a physical copy of the grant of probate

I instructed a solicitor to act for me in obtaining probate and house sell etc of my late mothers estate .

Everything seems to be progressing as expected and an online search shows that probate has been granted and gives a number.

Is that all the notification I will get or do I get an actual physical copy ( if this exists ) ?
will my solicitor get notification?
is this number enough to tell the estate agent that I’m in a position to sell ?

Just a few questions really on what I can expect

If you've instructed the solicitor to sell the house, it maybe that they will be instructing estate agents?

What exactly does your contract with them say?

If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing

yes, there is an actual physical grant with an official seal on, and estate agent (and sale solicitor) will need sight of it, or at least a picture of it. So will some other insitutions.

give your solicitor a kick to send it to you, one is provided with each probate application. You may want to get a second copy but there's no need for more than that now that everything is done by sending photos of it.

Googling on your question might have been both quicker and easier, if you're only after simple facts rather than opinions!
