Dishwasher written off!

Good afternoon. I recently purchased a dishwasher within the last 3 months. Last week it began leaking and I checked everything pipes etc. Nothing seen. Company sent out a domestic appliance repair company who have written it off due to a faulty door seal and the door beneath the seal being bent. I am seriously regretting buying from this company and I would like a refund rather than a replacement. Am I within my rights to request a refund?

Not after 30 days. The retailer are entitled to 1 attempt to repair or replace the item. If the fault persists or reoccurs afterwards, then you can insist on a refund.
