Anyone thinking of taking out a Cap price tracker it might be worth noting as of 14th July EDF predict October price cap to increase by £63, gas price increased again on 15th, European countries have not yet filled storage for winter, not unusual has been known for that to happen during August.
https://www.acer.europa.eu/news/eu-will-need-higher-lng-imports-refill-gas-storage-ahead-winter"Low storage levels: At the start of the gas summer season (1 April 2026), average EU gas storage stood at 28% capacity, below the levels recorded at the start of the previous three summer seasons"

Where are you seeing £50 cashback via TCB? I'm only seeing £37.50…

Here are the Fuse Energy (South of Scotland) prices from May until now. We have just entered the 50 day period, the standing charge hasn't changed. Getting slightly miffed at the moment and these prices are drawing other players into the equation. For a couple quid I wouldn't bother switching but……….OutFox is looking tempting!

I did compare and consider to referral payments, but this stood out as its to existing customers to renew. Customers who dont get this special treatment might feel hard done by, companies should always be careful with this sort of thing, you either offer it to everyone or no one.

I also received the £100 credit offer on the 15th July. After a bit of deliberation I chose the one year Simply Fixed Jul27v4 tariff. I received a confirmation email the same day - 18th July - confirming the details. My current fix expires on the 31st August.
As yet I still can't see any sign of my upcoming tariff change in my account. If I click on 'Change tariff' in the menu it just gives me the current tariff options to choose from.
I also haven't received my £100 credit, which in the initial offer said would be paid within 30 days of choosing my new tariff.
I'm going to contact them today but just wondered if anyone here is in the same situation?0 -
Thanks very much gpman for the response. I've now sent an email to them attaching my confirmation and the 30 day info. I did receive a bill from them this morning so checked my account credit straight away - definitely no payment yet. Good to know that I can't see my tariff details yet though, so hopefully it will all be sorted.
Update - I've already had a reply from EDF confirming the new tariff start on the 1st Sept. Also 'The credit will be applied automatically to your account 30 days after the tariff start date, so you should see it reflected shortly after then'. That's not what it said in the offer email but I'm fine with that.
Have to admit I'm quite impressed with the speediness of their response.1
