Notice of transfer of proceedings letter
hi ,
I’ve been through the whole letter process and mediation call, just received a letter saying notice of transfer of proceeding to the county court at Northampton, what do I do from here please?

Did you request the county court at Northampton on your N180 - DQ? If so, it is all proceeding normally, if not, where did you request? If it is the court that you wanted, then what date have they shown for the claimant to pay the court fee and what date for you both to submit witness statements and evidence?
Is this to do with this thread from earlier or a different issue:

hi this is from a previous post about a parking charge notice from Lidl euro park car parks, I made it on my partners account but have forgotten details🙈I think that was probably to one we requested yes! So this doesn’t mean it will definitely go to court?
I can’t figure out how to attach an image. It reads
‘To all parties
This claim has been transferred to the County Court at Northampton for allocation. On receipt, the file will be referred to a procedural judge who will allocate the claim to track and give case management directions. Details of the judge’s decision will be sent to you in a notice of allocation.’

They are always transferred to a local county court, because county courts deal with all county court claims if no settlement is reached beforehand
But many are discontinued atthe county court stage just before the hearing fee is due, meaning that they may not get to an actual hearing in the county court
If the defendant requested Northampton County Court, then it goes there, so wait for the court order to arrive from Northampton County Court, then follow the advice in post 2 in the newbies sticky thread in announcements near the top of the forum
