Trouble with Bank Park

Hi All,

I'm a newbie here. Living in South West London. Thanks for having me.

I've recently had Parking Charge Notice from a pribate company called Bank Park, who operate in this area. I was wondering if anyone had any advice on how best to deal with.

Apparently I parked my car , just outside the lines of a parking space in a free car park and receive the penalty. The notice was issues on 19th June but the parking date was 27th May. I believe that is not correct on their part.

I'm also confused as to how you. get a parkeing penalty in a free car park with no obvious notice of the rules on display.

I've sinced had a Final Reminder on 3rd July, increasing the pebnalty from £60 to £100. It seems mad that they can operate in such an aggressive manner.

Anyway, advice welcome and I look forward to hearing anyone's thoughts on the matter.

Thanks

Received a private parking charge notice, not a Penalty

The rules are on the signage and so communicated that way to the driver

The pcn was always £100, so hasn't increased, just the mugs 40% early payment discount expired, meaning that the full £100 charge became due

Given the NTK was dated 19th June it was too late for keeper liability. The keeper appeals saying that, then repeats it to POPLA (assuming Bank Park are in the BPA AOS).

    NO IMPLYING WHO WAS DRIVING!

PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
