Copy text from header into main text

I'm working on a Word text and I made the mistake of writing some text in the header. I don't need the header, I need to have the text in each header in each page. The header of each page has different text. Cutting and pasting it page by page (nearly 30 already) would take ages. Any advice? I wouldn't mind clearing the format as long as the text I wrote in the header remains at the bottom of each page. Thanks!

You can have different headers/footers on each page thus:

However I don't believe its possible natively to do what you want, - in theory some VBA code should be able to do it, though with all due respect by the time you've found how to get that working, it's probably far quicker just to copy and paste 30 times.

If you want text at the bottom of the page, that goes in the footer, not the header. If you mean you've put text in the header of each page and want it in the main body, then cutting and pasting 30 times is by far the easiest way.

I think this will work...

click in the header press ctrl a to select all the text, press ctrl c to copy the text (or ctrl x to cut), click in the main body and press ctrl V to paste the text

repeat 30 times
