Buying and selling DVD's

Hi all,
I was hoping to start buying and selling DVD's on ebay and Amazon. Does anybody have advise on where to buy the DVD's from. I'm worried that I will be buying sopies from somewhere and just wasting my money.
I've found a site icegadgets where they seem to be quite cheap but they're sourced from China and I can't tell if it's legit. Can anybody advise?
Also I don't understand the payment terms that Amazon have. Can anybody advise how much they deduct if you sell through them?
Thanks :rotfl:

Not sure if they are different region films?
Just nearly bought stardust, not out yet till Feb according to Amazon,
http://www.amazon.co.uk/s/ref=nb_ss_w_h_?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=stardust
Anybodys guess really. You could buy one to see if they are ok.0 -
I've had a look at the FAQ's on their site and it says they play on all the normal regions. They don't charge for shipping as you just get the DVD with no case but you get all the lietarture that would come in the normal case (cover sleave etc) and it says they are not copies.
I noticed Stardust on there as well. Is that legal to sell something in the UK that hasn't come out over here yet?0 -

Thanks Browntoa!
I can't actually believe that. Surely it's illegal?0 -
not illegal...
they are meant to have details of their returns policy to comply with the distance selling regulations
The key features of the regulations are:- you must give consumers clear information including details of the goods or services offered, delivery arrangements and payment, the supplier's details and the consumer's cancellation right before they buy (known as prior information)
- you must also provide this information in writing
- the consumer has a cooling-off period of seven working days

The arrow just points to the centre of the postcode area, and it only has the first part of the postcode that area will be a large one that includes the surrounding villages.0 -
hi libbidf
i have been importing dvd boxsets from china for over a year now, they are excellent quality and ive sold them on ebay, but be very careful cos if they are not out in this country, then ebay somehow assume that they are copies, which they are not.
this is the website
http://www.china-dropshipper.com
i suggest you order 1 as a trial order to your home address first, thats what i did, you can pay with visa,
regards
baronits only a bargain, if you need it or will use it.

These ARE copies! The studios DO NOT release region free DVDs! Think about it!0
